The core of my artistic inquiry explores how individuals relate to the world and how our surroundings shape us. Inspired by the uniquely beautiful and distinct cultural histories of both Turkey and my native Wyoming, my work serves as a reflection of these diverse geographies that have profoundly influenced my artistic identity. Through my art, I delve into concepts of family, history, time and place, often creating a conversation between the current cultural landscape of Wyoming and the ancient human history found in Turkey.
